About me

I am an artist based in New York City. I’m proudly a lawyer and advocate by day. I do not have a formal art degree, but I have taken many “night classes” and am blessed with some art genes from my mother, paternal grandmother, and maternal grandfather.

I mainly work in oil and sometimes charcoal, creating the world as I see it. I love to capture the essence of love.

Art provides me a sense of sanctuary from the pressure of perfection the world requires. Lines, shades, and proportions don’t always have to be exact. In fact, the mistakes that cause me the most worry turn into my favorite pieces.
